Man Dead in Westminister Accident on Goldenwest Street

 
WESTMINISTER, CA (July 26, 2019) – A 21-year-old male skateboarder died after a car struck him on Goldenwest Street on July 24.
 
Officers came to Goldenwest Street and Main Street shortly after 10:10 p.m., Cpl. Alan Aoki revealed. Upon their arrival, they located the man down on the sidewalk.
 
Medical responders administered lifesaving procedures. However, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
The driver remained at the scene and helped with the investigators. Authorities believed that drugs or alcohol didn’t play a role in the accident.
 
Police did not release any other information regarding the details of the accident at this time. The cause of the crash remains unknown as of this time.
