Skateboarder Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Colden Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 18, 2021) – Friday night, a man sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Colden Avenue and Figueroa Street.
 
According to Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at around 6:10 p.m. on Colden Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound vehicle struck a westbound skateboarder on Colden Avenue. The force of the crash threw the victim into the road. Then, the vehicle involved fled the scene without stopping.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the 18-year-old male victim to Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.
 
The incident is under investigation.
