ELK GROVE, CA (May 14, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a brutal single-vehicle crash near Sheldon and Waterman Road killed two people.

The incident happened at around 5:00 a.m. near Sheldon and Waterman Road.

According to the Elk Grove Police Department, a northbound vehicle lost control for still unknown reasons and crashed into a light pole.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the 21-year-old male driver of the vehicle and his 21-year-old female passenger both died at the scene.

Furthermore, officers believe that speed played a factor in the incident.
