Investigators Respond to Fatal Crash in Marysville
Marysville, CA (May 3, 2023) – At about 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, the authorities found Amery Sweany, 27, of Chico, dead on the 1700 block of Simpson Lane.
Officers said they received a report of a body lying on the side of the road, and when they arrived at the scene, they located Sweany who was just new to the Yuba-Sutter area.
An autopsy revealed Sweany’s cause of death was blunt force trauma. The authorities believe the victim was struck by a vehicle.
Similarly, officers said that pieces of evidence at the scene supported the result of the autopsy.
