Shooting Incident Ends with Crash on 110 Freeway and 10 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 6, 2020) – Saturday morning, a car-to-car shooting incident ended with a crash on 110 Freeway.
 
The incident began just after 5:00 a.m. from 110 Freeway north tho the 10 Freeway east.
 
According to reports, someone stopped along the driver’s side and opened fire. After shooting the driver’s leg, the single vehicle crashed. Meanwhile, the second vehicle’s passenger suffered injuries. Responders took both of them to the hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that numerous rounds of gunshots were heard.
 
“The driver in the victim vehicle sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg,” Sgt. Matthew Barnachia of the CHP revealed. “The passenger that was also in the victim’s vehicle, he sustained injuries as a result of the traffic collision. However, he was not injured in the car-to-car shooting.”
 
At this time, the authorities are uncertain why the shooting took place. Furthermore, arrests weren’t made yet. Moreover, the authorities described the suspect’s vehicle as white. However, they weren’t able to disclose further details.
 
According to reports, the incident was the third car-to-car shooting on a freeway in Los Angeles County for the last eight days.
