Shon Bell of Longview Fatally Struck by Vehicle on FM 2087 [Longview, TX]

Longview, TX (Aug. 3, 2023) – At about 9:53 p.m. on Monday, 46-year-old Shon Bell of Longview was fatally struck by a vehicle on FM 2087.

Texas DPS officers said Bell was walking north on the right lane fog line of FM 2087. when he was hit by a car. 

Moreover, a 24-year-old from Kilgore was northbound on the right lane in a Nissan Altima. The vehicle struck Bell with the front right of the vehicle.

Officers said the Nisan driver was traveling with a passenger. Neither of them sustained injuries from the collision. 

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the cause of the vehicle on FM 2087.
