Fresno, CA (January 6, 2023) On Thursday evening, a traffic accident involving a Fresno Police vehicle on Shields Avenue killed a male pedestrian.

Police say that the fatal pedestrian crash happened between Cedar Avenue and Millbrook Avenue just before 7 p.m.

Reports say that the police vehicle fatally struck a man wearing dark clothing who stepped down from a center median.

Additionally, officials say that the victim is described only as a man in his 30s. Authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene.
