Sheng Tu Lin Struck and Killed in Yucca Valley Pedestrian Accident

 
Yucca Valley, CA (September 18, 2020) – On Wednesday, 73-year-old Sheng Tu Lin of Yucca Valley died in a pedestrian accident on Twentynine Palms Highway.
 
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Morongo Basin Station said the victim was struck by a 2005 Toyota Prius. He was walking home from his family restaurant in Yucca Valley when the accident happened.
 
Deputies determined Lin was crossing Twentynine Palms Highway outside of a crosswalk when a westbound Toyota struck him.
 
Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
No further information about the incident is available as the Morongo Basin Major Accident Investigation team continues to investigate the Yucca Valley accident.
