1 Person Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 19th Street and Avenue S
LUBBOCK, TX (February 9, 2023) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Shawn Chapman after a fatal hit-and-run crash on 19th Street and Avenue S.
The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on 19th Street and Avenue S.
According to reports, a moped vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene.
Moreover, responders transported the victim to a UMC with moderate injuries.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the moped vehicle, 36-year-old Shawn Chapman for failure to stop and render aid and driving with a suspended license. Authorities booked Chapman at Lubbock County Detention Center.
