2 People Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run Accident on McKinley Avenue and First Street

 
FRESNO, CA (January 12, 2023) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested Shane Lee Shahan following a fatal crash on McKinley Avenue and First Street.
 
The incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and First Street.
 
According to the Fresno Police, a westbound black truck ran a red light and collided with a northbound car. Then, the suspect fled the scene on foot after the collision.
 
Moreover, responders rushed two male occupants of the vehicle to a hospital. However, one of the patients was later pronounced dead.
 
Furthermore, authorities managed to locate and arrest the suspect, 33-year-old Shane Lee Shahan for Felony Hit and Run and Felony Vehicular Manslaughter charges.
