Shane Gibson Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Bellflower Boulevard [Long Beach, CA]

Long Beach, CA (June 23, 2023) – On Thursday, Shane Gibson, 49, dies, and a 60-year-old Cypress woman was involved in a motorcycle crash on Bellflower Boulevard.

Officers said that the Cypress woman was driving a 2015 Honda Civic north on Bellflower Boulevard when she suddenly swerved into the southbound lanes and collided with Gibson’s 2019 Honda CBR600 motorcycle,

Unfortunately, Gibson died at the crash scene.

The Cypress woman was transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Officers said that speed, distracted driving, and driving under the influence are not believed to be factors in the accident.
