Multiple Injuries Reported in Adelanto Accident on Sheep Creek Road

 
ADELANTO, CA (August 10, 2020) – Saturday night, several people sustained injuries in a traffic crash on Sheep Creek Road.
 
The T-bone crash involving a silver Chevy Tahoe and a silver Ford F-150 happened on August 8th at around 9:30 p.m.
 
The San Bernardino County Firefighters came to the scene and found the Tahoe with major damage to the passenger side. Thus, they utilized extrication tools to free a young child. Meanwhile, the female adult front passenger sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center.
 
After CHP helicopter H-80 landed, it transported the injured woman to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
 
Furthermore, witness Jessica Christopherson heard children inside the SUV screaming and stopped to call 911. Jessica added that the girl’s leg was stuck. However, when firefighters freed the child, she only sustained some scrapes.
 
Jessica also said that the father in the Tahoe was uninjured while another little girl was in shock. Responders transported all three of them via a ground ambulance to LLUMC. Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver suffered a gash to the back of his head.
 
The California Highway Patrol Victorville Station is spearheading the crash investigation.
