VICTORVILLE, CA (August 30, 2020) – Saturday afternoon, several people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash near Bear Valley Road.
 
According to reports, at 1:21 p.m., the Victorville Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, and AMR came to the scene. Upon their arrival, they found a white Hyundai near Bear Valley Road overpass and four other vehicles on 15 Freeway. One of the vehicles also flipped and landed on its side.
 
Meanwhile, a witness said that a black Hyundai failed to stop at a red light as it headed east on Bear Valley Road. As a result, it crashed with the white Hyundai that was exiting the southbound 15 Freeway offramp, trying to turn east on Bear Valley Road.
 
Then, the black Hyundai headed off the overpass and was hit by a red Toyota pick-up truck. The said truck was crossing lanes of the southbound 15 Freeway. Due to the crash, the pickup rolled over and fell on the dirt shoulder. Meanwhile, the Hyundai stopped in the no. 2 lanes.
 
The impact caused the pick-up to overturn and land along the dirt shoulder and the Hyundai came to rest in the no. 2 lanes.
 
The authorities temporarily closed the traffic on the southside 15 Freeway. During the closure, medical responders treated 8 people at the scene for unidentified injuries. At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether they transported anyone to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, when the CHP officials reopened the freeway, they moved the vehicles to the shoulder lane.
