MORAGA, CA (July 16, 2019) – Several people were injured in a collision on Moraga Road around 1:00 p.m., on July 13 in Moraga.
 
According to reports, an elderly driver trying to park accidentally slipped his foot off the brake and onto the accelerator. The van then crashed into the front of the CVS store at 580 Moraga Road, police revealed.
 
The crash left several people with injuries while medics transported one person to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
 
The occupants of the van, the driver and a passenger, didn’t suffer any injury in the collision on Moraga Road.
 
Police ruled out drugs or alcohol as a factor in the collision. The driver cooperated in the investigation.
