Injuries Sustained in Victorville Car Accident on Hesperia Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 20, 2020) – Early Monday afternoon, several people suffered injuries in a high-speed crash on Hesperia Road.
 
According to police reports, a gold-colored Camry was driving at a high rate of speed, north on Hesperia Road at around 2:20 p.m.
 
However, the Camry then drove into the southbound lanes and crashed with a company van for Victorville Medical Transportation.
 
Due to the impact of the high-speed crash, the female passenger in the Camry was thrown off the vehicle.
 
When the medical responders arrived, they airlifted her to a trauma center for treatment.
 

Results of the High-Speed Crash

 
Meanwhile, the paramedics transported the Camry’s male driver via ambulance to a local hospital after complaining of pain.
 
Moreover, they also took a passenger in the van for precautionary measures.

The van driver also had complaints of pain, thus, the responders transported him locally. Fortunately, the reports revealed that all the patients are expected to fully recover.
 
Furthermore, a witness revealed that the Camry driver, 22-year-old Jose Preciado, threw a gun from the car before the deputies arrived at the scene.
 
The deputies were able to find a handgun in the nearby wash with the serial number purposely removed.
 
The authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the crash. They are also attempting to seek more information about the gun.
