SHASTA COUNTY, CA (August 16, 2020) – Friday morning, several injuries were reported in a traffic crash on Highway 44.
 
According to reports, the four-vehicle crash happened at about 9:15 a.m. on Highway 44 in Shingletown. The incident took place near the KOA campground entrance east of Shingletown. Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol revealed that the crash involved a Toyota 4Runner, a Hyundai Veracruz, Infinity QX4, and a motorhome.
 
Furthermore, the crews dispatched a medical helicopter and additional emergency personnel to aid.
 
The paramedics revealed that a person sustained critical injuries. Moreover, two others sustained moderate injuries.
