Multiple People Hurt in Multi-Car Collision in Bremerton

 
BREMERTON, WA (April 17, 2019) – Several people suffered injuries in Tuesday’s six-car collision at Highway 303 and Northeast Riddell Road.
 
Around 11:40 a.m., Washington State Troopers and paramedics responded to the scene after receiving reports of a major-injury crash.
 
According to Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, one driver who allegedly caused the collision was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Two others sought treatment at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
 
In the investigation, authorities learned that a southbound car on Highway 303 sideswiped two cars before hitting a third one in the turn lane. While the third car traveled to the intersection, where a fourth vehicle hit it, the first driver hit a fifth car while making a left turn.
 
The multi-car crash closed the highway for three hours due to clean up and investigations.
