Seven Injured in Crash Involving Amazon Prime Truck on Highway 99 [Arbuckle, CA]

Two Vehicles Crash Head-On Near Yolo County Line Road

 
ARBUCKLE, CA (August 31, 2019) – Seven people suffered injuries in a crash involving an Amazon Prime truck on Highway 99 West on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near and Yolo County Line Road at approximately 3:30 PM. Based on an initial report, the grey Amazon truck was traveling southbound on Highway 99 West when a white pickup truck carrying watermelons failed to stop at the intersection from westbound on Yolo County Line Road. The action resulted in the head-on crash.
 
The victims, five adults and two children under 13 years of age were injured in the incident. Three people were taken to the hospital by helicopter.
 
The crash is under investigation.
