Simultaneous Multiple Wrong-Way Crash Incidents on Las Vegas Valley Roads
Las Vegas, NV (May 13, 2020)– The Nevada Highway Patrol have responded to three wrong-way crashes on Las Vegas Valley roads in less than a week.
From Wednesday through Sunday last week, NHP troops have been called three times to respond to a wrong-way crash.
Specific locations of these crashes were not released in the reports.
NHP said that two of the crashes ended with injuries sustained. Furthermore, all of the three reported wrong-way crashes fall under the same category: driving under the influence.
This series of incidents pose a great risk of road safety. According to NHP log reports, they have responded to 101 wrong-way reports across the state as of February. 57 reported wrong-way cases in Southern Nevada and 44 in Northern Nevada.
