SAN JOSE, CA (October 8, 2024) – Tuesday night, Sengqin Luo died in a horrific pedestrian crash on South Fifth and East Fernando Street.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. on South Fifth and East Fernando Street.

According to reports, an eastbound 2018 Nissan Sentra sedan struck a female pedestrian who was walking across the roadway in a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim, identified as 87-year-old Luo, to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
