Driver Seriously Injured in Big Rig Crash on Highway 58

Bakersfield, CA (January 28, 2021) – On Wednesday, a semi-truck driver was seriously injured in a crash on Highway 58 near Union Avenue.

The big rig accident took place at about 1 p.m. which involved multiple trucks.

Apparently, the driver of one of the trucks merged into the highway at a fast speed and drifted right to avoid the traffic.

Unfortunately, the big rig then swiped another semi-truck that rear-ended a car hauler.

The driver of the truck that drifted into the highway sustained serious injuries from the crash.

Meanwhile, the authorities temporarily closed the freeway but was already reopened to traffic.

Always follow all the traffic rules to avoid road accidents.

Moving Forward After a Vehicle Crash

Furthermore, roadways, while scrupulously created and mapped for efficient travel, are one of the most dangerous settings.

As common of an occurrence as they are, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a multi-car crash.

Moreover, according to the United States Department of Transportation, there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year.

Common events on the road can just as swiftly become safety hazards. Thus, everyone must remain calm to properly handle the immediate aftermath of a multi-vehicle collision.
