Motorcyclist Sean Murphy Killed After Crashing Into Vehicle on Guadalupe Road and Loop 202 Santan Freeway

 
Mesa, AZ (July 28, 2020) – On Sunday, 34-year-old Sean Murphy died in a motorcycle crash on the overpass of Guadalupe Road and Loop 202 Santan freeway.
 
The tragic incident happened at about 8:30 pm when his motorcycle collided with a car.
 
Authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Both the police and witnesses’ statement said that the victim was traveling westbound on Guadalupe Road. Then, he approached a red light on a fast speed at 202 Freeway overpass.
 
At the same time, a car that drove off 202 freeway at Guadalupe Road on a green light. It drove through the intersection and collided with the victim’s motorcycle as it turned left.
 
Mesa Police Department Vehicular Crime Unit investigated the crash. They said impairment is not a factor in the collision.
