One Person Injured in Mound House Bus Accident
MOUND HOUSE, NV (June 11, 2019) – Tuesday morning, one unidentified person was injured in a school bus accident the 50 Freeway.
According to reports, the accident occurred just before 7:00 AM, on the 50 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived near Bunny Ranch Road shortly after.
Officials also stated that a Honda Element rear ended a school bus. However, the events leading up are currently unclear. Authorities also say there was a total of three children found inside the bus.
Troopers stated the driver of the Honda was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. However, there has been no update on his current medical condition. Also, it was reported that neither the kids nor the bus driver were injured. Traffic was also backed up for several hours as a result of the collision.
There has been no further information released at this time as investigations continue.
