Skateboarder Hospitalized after Crashing into Car on Seco Canyon Road and Garzota Drive
SAUGUS, CA (April 9, 2018) – A skateboarder was hospitalized after being involved in a vehicle collision on Seco Canyon Road on Monday evening.
The accident occurred at around 6:30 PM on Seco Canyon Road at Garzota Drive. The skateboarder, only described as an adult by Sheriff’s Station officials, was transported to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment and evaluation.
The injured skateboarder suffered a broken ankle and a leg fracture according to Sgt Scott Shoemaker of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station’s Traffic Section. He was cited for failing to stop at a red light.
