Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Gary Road and Empire Boulevard in San Tan Valley

San Tan Valley, AZ (November 4, 2023) – On Saturday night, 37-year-old Sarah Farmer-Herrera died in a crash on Gary Road and Empire Boulevard.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said they were called around 11 p.m. to an accident near Gary Road and Empire Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found a motorcycle and a truck involved in the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead.

The driver was later identified as 37-year-old Sarah Farmer-Herrera.

The PCSO believes the truck was attempting to make a left turn and crossed the motorcycle, which was traveling southbound on Gary Road, causing the accident.

They add that the driver of the truck was charged with DUI and released pending the results of the blood test.

Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
