Sara Yielding Killed in 7th Street Vehicle Collision [Lubbock, TX]

US 62 Fatal Crash Injures Driver

Lubbock, TX (March 24, 2023) – On Wednesday, Sara Yielding, 75, of Lubbock, died, while another driver was injured in a 7th Street vehicle collision.

Investigating officers said Yielding was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with US 62. 

At the same time, another vehicle was eastbound on the highway when Yielding pulled into its path.

The two vehicles collided and Sara Yielding succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the responding EMS treated the other driver for their injuries.

Officers said the two drivers were wearing seatbelts during the accident.

The authorities are investigating the US 62 fatal crash.
