SANTA PAULA, CA – 1 Injured in Hit-and-Run 3-Car Wreck on Balcom Canyon Road Near South Mountain Road

1 Person Hospitalized in Santa Paula Hit-and-Run Collision

 
SANTA PAULA, CA (December 5, 2018) – A hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles on Balcom Canyon Road near South Mountain Road left one person injured and another on the loose Tuesday.
 
The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. just south of South Mountain Road.
 
According to news reports, a pickup truck heading northbound, driven by an adult male, veered into the southbound lanes and sideswiped one car before colliding with an SUV, California Highway Patrol spokesman Officer Kevin Denharder detailed.
 
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene on foot, leaving the driver of the SUV with minor injuries. The person in the first vehicle that was hit was unharmed.
 
CHP officers are investigating this crash and are asking the public to come forward if they know about the driver’s whereabouts.
