Sandra Ferrell Dies in Pedestrian Accident Near East Gettysburg Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Sandra Ferrell Struck and Killed by Vehicle in North Fresno

 
Fresno, CA (November 8, 2020) – On Saturday, Sandra Ferrell died in a pedestrian accident near East Gettysburg Avenue and North Blackstone Avenue.
 
Officers said a car struck Sandra Ferrell shortly after midnight.
 
When the authorities arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
 
“The driver of the vehicle was actually the one that called 911 and advised that he had struck a pedestrian,” says Fresno Police Lt. Andre Benson. “He did remain on the scene. The driver was slightly injured by the impact, and was take to the hospital to receive treatment.”
 
Police did not identify the driver, nor stated any arrests made in connection to the accident.
 
Investigators said the crash scene was well lit. They are still looking into what caused the accident.
