Sandra Corona and Others Injured in Collision on State Route 28 [Wenatchee, WA]

Wenatchee, WA (September 29, 2023) – 29-year-old Sandra Corona of Quincy and others sustained injuries following a vehicle collision on State Route 28 Wednesday night.

Troopers said 19-year-old Lilian Pena was distracted driving at a road work site when she rear-ended a car driven by a 34-year-old unnamed Spokane man.

Corona, one of the passengers in the vehicle that was rear-ended was injured and was transported to an area hospital. 

Cheyanna and Ricky Padron of Moses Lake were also injured in the accident. 

The accident report stated that Pena was injured and the rescuers transported her to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee for treatment. 

Additionally, one of the vehicles involved in the traffic accident was driven by former Quincy police chief Kieth Siebert. Siebert was not injured. 

Officers are investigating.
