One Injured in Accident near Nicasio Valley Road

 
SAN GERONIMO, CA (March 25, 2019) – One person was hospitalized Monday following a 2-vehicle crash on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
 
The collision happened around 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Nicasio Valley Road. First responders arrived to the area shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
 
Furthermore, officials said a red pickup truck and a white sedan collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused front-end damage to both vehicles, and blockage on the roadway.
 
Paramedics quickly responded to the scene for needed medical attention. Reports indicate that one injured victim was transported to Marin General Hospital for further treatment. There have been no further updates regarding their current condition.
 
Towing services were eventually called to remove both damaged vehicles from the scene. The surrounding area was blocked off as crews worked to clean and finalize preliminary duties.
 
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in official reports. Authorities say the investigation is currently ongoing to eventually determine liability.
