Fatal Two-Car Collision on 1200 Block of Mansell Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 23, 2018) – A fatal accident was reported on Tuesday afternoon around 1:06 PM on Mansell Street near Visitacion Avenue.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene of the two-vehicle crash. According to reports, One car was travelling east on Mansell St, while the second car was headed west.
The two cars crashed together, causing a wildland fire at the edge of McLaren Park in San Francisco. It is unclear whether the crash was a head-on collision.
The fire was contained by firefighters. One of the drivers was pronounced dead, while another person had life-threatening injuries.
