Three-Year-Old Toddler Run Over by Pickup Truck in Crawford High School Quad Area
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 21, 2018) – A three-year-old boy was struck by a pickup truck on Saturday morning, in Crawford High School.
According to reports from the San Diego Police Department, the accident took place before 11:00 AM, in the high school’s quad area. The 31-year-old driver of the white pickup said that the young boy stepped in front of the car unexpectedly.
He was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. SDPD Officer Steve Bourasa said that the victim suffered two skull fractures and abrasions, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening. There is no update on the toddler’s condition at this time.
The collision continues to be under investigation by the SDPD Traffic Division. No other information has been released to the public at this time.
