Pedestrian Hit by Pickup Truck on Highway 94 in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 16, 2019) – An elderly man man was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle Thursday evening in San Diego.
 
The incident was reported at 7:34 p.m. on eastbound Highway 94 at Home Avenue exit.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was walking towards the 805 Freeway from eastbound Highway 94 when he was struck by a gray pickup truck. Several other vehicles stopped to assist.
 
Paramedics rushed the victim to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest with major injuries.
