Vikramamjit Samra Arrested, Couple Killed in Riverdale Fatal Accident on Mount Whitney Avenue

 
Fresno, CA (December 19, 2020) – On Friday, Salvador Llamas and Rasalva Chavez-Contreras died in a vehicle crash on Mount Whitney Avenue.
 
The crash took place before 5:30 p.m. along Highway 41 near Riverdale.
 
Traffic remained stopped at a red light, when a BMW traveling north crashed into the back of a stopped Chevy.
 
Investigators said a third car was hit in the accident.
 
Authorities pronounced the man and woman riding the Chevy dead on the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the BMW driver and the third vehicle did not sustain injuries from the crash.
 
Furthermore, authorities closed Highway 41 in both directions while the road was cleared and the investigation was done. It was reopened as of 8:30 P.M.
 
Additionally, police say they arrested 20-year-old Vikramamjit Samra for the deadly accident.
