Sadi Tucker, Helen Vermillion, and 66-Year-Old Man Injured in Highway 108 Jamestown Accident

Tuolumne County, CA (July 30, 2020)– Three people were injured, including Sadi Tucker, in a two-vehicle collision on Tulloch Road and Highway 108.

A California Highway Patrol spokesperson said that the incident happened on July 28 in the southwest Tuolumne County.

The investigation showed that at about 7:45 p.m., Sadi Tucker, 18, of Atwater was driving a 2017 Audi A4 sedan.

Officer Steve Machado with CHP Sonora based in Jamestown said she pulled onto Highway 108 from a stop at the Tulloch Road junction.

Tucker was trying to cross the westbound lanes of Highway 108, the path where the 2010 Subaru Forester was heading. When the two vehicles approached each other, the Subaru driver suddenly crashed into the driver’s side of Tucker’s Audi.

Due to the impact of the collision, the Subaru overturned before it landed in westbound lanes of Highway 108. A helicopter airlifted the driver, a 66-year-old Saratoga man to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

The passenger in the Subaru identified as Helen Vermillion, 68, of Saratoga was moderately injured as a result. Thus, a ground ambulance then took her to the same hospital for treatments.

Meanwhile, Tucker sustained minor injuries and emergency personnel treated her at the scene.
