Woman Struck by Vehicle and Killed in the Area of Los Robles Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 3, 2018) – A woman was struck by a vehicle and killed in a pedestrian collision on Los Robles Boulevard on Saturday evening.
Sacramento Police reported that the 60-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street around 6:37 PM. Officers patrolling the area of Los Robles Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard came across the collision and found the 60-year-old in an unresponsive state in the middle of the road.
Sacramento Fire Department first responders pronounced the woman dead on the scene of the crash. Authorities determined that she was crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the fatal incident.
