SACRAMENTO, CA – Woman Hospitalized in Three-Car Crash on Highway 50 at 65th Street

Injuries Reported in Morning 3-Car Crash on Highway 50 in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 16, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized following a three-car crash Thursday morning on westbound Highway 50 at 65th Street on-ramp.
 
The crash happened around 8:18 a.m. involving a silver Ford Explorer, a gray Toyota Camry and a third vehicle.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located the Ford SUV on a hill, while the others were blocking the highway lanes. A female occupant in one of the cars was injured as a result of the crash.
 
Paramedics transported the woman to Mercy General Hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from blocking the highway.
 
Authorities are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
