60-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Imperial Highway
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 29, 2018) – A woman was killed early Sunday morning after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver near Imperial Highway.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at about 2:05 AM. 60-year-old Sabrina Williams was walking south on Success Avenue when a vehicle hit her.
The victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers. Meanwhile, the vehicle involved made a U-turn and fled the scene.
Police described the suspect car as a white sedan or a small SUV. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the driver or the vehicle is encouraged to contact the LAPD’s South Traffic Division at (323) 421-2577.
