VICTORVILLE, CA (December 1, 2024) – Friday afternoon, authorities arrested Saai Salazar Martinez after a hit-and-run crash on Del Gado Road.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 2:25 p.m. at the intersection of Del Gado Road and Dos Palmas.

The collision involved three vehicles: a blue Ford X-Max, a white Toyota Corolla, and a black Kia Telluride. Emergency crews responded, requesting four ambulances to transport six individuals with minor injuries.

Witnesses reported that the Ford driver fled the scene after the crash, leaving an injured passenger trapped in the vehicle. He was later detained by law enforcement near Luna and Cahuenga Roads.

The driver, identified as Martinez of Victorville, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including VC2001(A) Hit-and-Run Causing Injury, VC23153(A) DUI Alcohol Causing Great Bodily Injury, and VC14601.2(A) Driving on a Suspended License.
