Rudy Reyes Killed in Horrific Pedestrian Crash on Blackstone Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (November 5, 2024) On Saturday evening, 34-year-old Rudy Reyes died after a horrific pedestrian crash on Blackstone Avenue.

According to authorities, the fatal incident happened around 8 p.m. near Swift Avenue.

Reports say that Reyes was struck by a vehicle while he crossing Blackstone Avenue near Swift Avenue, Reyes reportedly walked into the road as a northbound vehicle approached on Blackstone Avenue.

First responders arrived on the scene, performed CPR, and transported Reyes to a nearby hospital in critical condition. However, on October 28, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Reyes had died from his injuries.

According to detectives, the driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene and was not impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time.
