Injuries Reported in Fontana Pedestrian Accident on Juniper Avenue near Montgomery Avenue
FONTANA, CA (September 30, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a young girl named Ruby Narvaez sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian crash on Juniper Avenue near Montgomery Avenue.
According to Fontana Police Department, the deadly accident happened on Juniper Avenue. Moreover, it took place between Baseline and Montgomery avenues.
Reports revealed that a black Ford Expedition towing a cargo trailer struck Ruby as she went to close the gate for the vehicle at the private residence.
Furthermore, the incident closed the area for several hours.
Meanwhile, officials say alcohol and drugs did not factor into the Ford colliding with the victim. Despite lifesaving measures conducted at the scene, paramedics pronounced Ruby dead shortly after.
Also, authorities urged everyone to avoid the area and to find alternate routes.
We at Sweet Lawyers send our utmost sympathies to the family and community of Ruby Narvaez.
