Anthony Rollins and Ruby Edwards Dead Following Berkeley Accident on Marin Avenue

 
BERKELEY, CA (May 12, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, Ruby Edwards and Anthony Rollins died in a two-vehicle crash on Marin Avenue near San Benito Road.
 
According to authorities, the incident involved two vehicles. Furthermore, it happened at around 1:40 p.m. on Marin Avenue near San Benito Road.
 
Reports revealed that a passenger from one of the vehicles died at the scene.
 
Responders transported the driver of that same vehicle to Highland Hospital. However, the driver was later pronounced dead.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a mother from the second vehicle to Highland Hospital with critical injuries.
 
Also, the victim’s daughter accompanied her mother. At this time, it’s still unclear if she suffered injuries in the crash.
 
Moreover, the crash damaged a power pole in the area and closed Marin Avenue from Grizzly Peak Boulevard to the Circle.
 
The events leading to the Berkley crash are under investigation.
