35-Year-Old Ruben Soto Hospitalized in Ruben Torres Boulevard Accident [Brownsville, TX]

Brownsville, TX (Aug. 8, 2023) – On Sunday night, 35-year-old Ruben Soto sustained injuries following a Ruben Torres Boulevard accident.

The accident occurred in the 3600 block area. Officers said a white Yukon SUV was westbound on the outer lane while Ruben Soto was walking along the same lane at the same time.

The SUV struck Soto. Immediately, the driver pulled over and render aid to Soto until police and EMS arrived at the scene. 

Soto was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Officers are still investigating the pedestrian accident.
