Crash Leaves 46-Year-Old Fontana Woman Dead on Intersection of Randall and Alder Avenues
FONTANA, CA (January 24, 2018) – 46-year-old Fontana woman, Rosa Maria Rosales-Ortiz, was struck and killed in a two-car collision on the intersection of Randall and Alder avenues, early morning Wednesday.
The victim was driving eastbound on Randall Avenue in a Honda sedan around 7:40 AM, when she was struck by a southbound Jeep from Alder Avenue. Police and the San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived at the scene, where Rosales-Ortiz was declared dead at 7:55 AM.
No other injuries were reported in the crash, according to Fontana officials.
Current investigation on the cause of the fatal accident is conducted by the Fontana Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T).
