Ronnie Bevell Fatally Struck by Vehicle on 15 Freeway in Temecula

 
TEMECULA, CA (November 04, 2019) — A man, identified as Ronnie Bevell, died in a pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway Thursday night.
 
The California Highway Patrol said Bevell was walking a bicycle when a vehicle fatally struck him at about 9:00 p.m. The crash occurred on southbound 15 Freeway near the Rainbow truck scales.
 
The 59-year-old Bevell died at the scene. It was unclear why he was walking along the freeway.
 
On the other hand, first responders took the driver of the vehicle to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar with unspecified injuries.
 
Meantime, another vehicle also struck the bicycle separately. The driver later stopped near Mission Road and called the officers.
