Rollover Crash on Interstate 15 Kills Man and Injures Woman [Fallbrook, CA]

 

Vehicle Rolls Over and Falls 150 Feet off Interstate 15 Resulted to Fatal Crash

 
Fallbrook, CA (June 9, 2020)– A deadly rollover crash on Interstate 15 lead to reported injuries and fatality on Sunday morning.
 
The tragic incident took place on June 7 at about 10:41 a.m. According to Capt. John Choi of North County Fire Protection District, one vehicle drove off the freeway and fell 150 feet below.
 
There were at least two victims involved in the crash. Fire crews were able to pull up one woman using the rope system. The woman sustained severe injuries and was immediately brought to Palomar Medical Center.
 
Moreover, another person, who is currently unidentified, died from the crash. Choi said it is unclear who among the two victims was the driver or the passenger.
 
The crash resulted in road traffic on the East Mission on-ramp.
 
Currently, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the events that led up to the deadly crash on Interstate 15.
