Hazmat Incident Occurred Following Rollover Collision on 110 Freeway Involving Big Rig

 
Los Angeles, CA (September 11, 2020) – A rollover collision on 110 Freeway left the road with traffic jam and hazmat situation on Thursday.
 
The incident happened on September 10 on the southbound 110 Freeway in Harbor City, north of Pacific Coast Highway.
 
According to a report, a big rig suddenly rolled over on its side at Vermont Avenue just before 4 p.m. However, it is unknown what caused the crash.
 
Authorities rescued the driver of the tanker truck while an occupant in an involved SUV sustained minor injuries.
 
Due to the impact of the crash, the big rig spilled fuel on the road. Hazmat crews responded on the scene to help in handling the situation.
 
Furthermore, the crash left the road with snarled-up traffic on the southbound area. Authorities allowed the four-lane traffic to use a single lane to avoid the incident.
 
Moreover, an unrelated crash also led to heavy traffic on the northbound side.
