According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the rear-end collision happened at 5:45 p.m. on U.S. 61, about three miles south of Hannibal.

Reports say that the rear-end collision injured one driver. Authorities say that the crash occurred when a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by a 22-year-old man, was traveling southbound The Chevrolet struck the rear of a 2012 Toyota Highlander driven by a 63-year-old woman.

Authorities say that the impact caused the Toyota to veer off the road and overturn. Emergency responders transported the woman to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
