1 Person Arrested in Touchet Auto Accident on US 12
TOUCHET, WA (October 26, 2024) – Monday afternoon, Rodolfo Ceja and three other people sustained injuries in a crippling head-on crash on US 12.
The incident happened on US 12.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a westbound vehicle veered across the median lane for still unknown reasons and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the westbound vehicle, identified as 41-year-old Ceja, two of its female passengers, and the 27-year-old male driver of the eastbound vehicle, to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, officers arrested and held Ceja at the Walla Walla County Jail on suspicion of vehicular assault, interference with a health care facility, obstructing law enforcement, and driving with an invalidated license.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the WSP continued to investigate the crash.
