Robert Mysliwiec of Aberdeen Killed in Tragic Wrong-Way Crash on SR 105 [Grays Harbor County, WA]

Grays Harbor County, WA (November 20, 2023) On Thursday morning, 76-year-old Robert Mysliwiec died in a wrong-way crash on SR 105.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal wrong-way crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on State Route 105.

Reports say that a Lacey woman and a Westport man were also hurt in the fatal crash.

Officials say that Mysliwiec was on a southbound vehicle, in the northbound lanes at a high speed, when his vehicle crashed head-on with a vehicle. Then, the crash led a 3rd vehicle into a northbound ditch to avoid the wreck.

Authorities say that Mysliwiec was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, both drivers of the northbound vehicles, a 32-year-old Lacey woman and a 56-year-old Westport man, both sustained injuries and were taken to Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen.

Authorities are investigating the fatal crash and have not released further details at this time.
